The international “Fine!Dust-Free” Congress, which is already the second event dedicated to the topic of fine dust or particulate matter, will be held again in Klagenfurt from 1 to 2 October 2009 – this time in the framework of the EU-LIFE Project “SPAS”.

Renowned experts from all across Europe and the USA will share their expertise and present examples of how to mitigate the problem of fine dust and discuss this issue with an international audience consisting of experts from the sector of environment, transport and traffic, administration, politics, science and business.

The Congress will provide the unique opportunity of
  • gaining a concise and yet profound insight into the topic;
  • establishing and maintaining valuable contacts with experts from all across Europe the world;
  • learning about practical and already tried and tested measures for one’s own area of work;
  • receiving well-established information from many and diverse perspectives;
  • contributing one’s own view in the discussions;
  • receiving early information on any innovations in this field
  • getting an overview of what is new in this area in an exhibition and at poster sessions;
  • exchanging experiences and know-how transfer in a pleasant atmosphere; and
  • of experiencing autumn in Carinthia.

With approximately 330 participants, the 1st Fine!Dust-Free Congress in March 2007 was already a big success.
