Sound and Particle Absorbing System – Noise-Protection Wall Combined with Fine-Dust Filter
The EU project SPAS helps to combat fine dust and noise.
Residents along busy routes are exposed to a double health risk: noise and fine dust.
In the framework of the project SPAS, a promising development – fine-dust filters which are integrated into conventional noise-protection walls – is tested. Special filter baskets filter the air which is raised as motor vehicles pass by. Thus fine dust is reduced at its origin.
